Backpack / Rucksack
These very strong and sturdy bags have a single body compartment and are individually made to suit the size and colour of your choice. This backpack has an adjustable and detachable shoulder harness which is secured to solid cast brass fittings at three points on the back of the bag. The fixing points for the harness are hand stitched and make use of copper saddler’s rivets for extra strength. Under the front flap, the body of the bag features the extra detail of turned and stitched top and side edges. This bag has a single buckle closing strap mounted on the front of the bag and a simple yet strong carry handle fitted to the back.
This example is made from 3-4mm vegetable tanned shoulder leather, hand stitched in a brown waxed linen thread.
